Castle Rat is a fantasy themed doom metal band out of Brooklyn, New York that has been mesmerizing people at their shows since 2019. The band has recorded two albums; „Into the Realm (2024)“ and „The Bestiary (2025)“ With songs from those two records them compose a comprehensive and immersive theatherical live performance during which the frontwoman Riley Pinkerton (aka the Rat Queen) fights off The Rat Reaperess with the help of Druid, Count and Plague Doctor. This magical heavy metal is being released via King Volume Records and we are very excited to expand our heavy/doom metal roster.
