Deceptor are delivering classic death/thrash straight out of Raleigh, NC and these dudes mean absolute business. Gabriel Earley started the whole thing in his bedroom, self-releasing the first demo Bound by Ritual in 2022 — writing, producing and performing everything himself — before guitarist Preston Lanier and drummer Andrew Harper joined the ranks. Bound by Ritual got the heads turning and the Bathed in Blood EP in 2023 only made things worse (in the best way). Debut full-length Reign of Terror drops August 21st, 2026 via Dying Victims Productions and it absolutely rips. If you’re into Whiplash, Coroner, Exodus or Protector you already know what’s up — and if early Sepultura gets your neck sore, get on this immediately
