Today we have something truly special for you. Legendary old school death metal band from Sweden. We imagine every one of you is familiar with Gorement. They released couple of demos and EP “Into Shadows” before unleashing their magnum opus “The Ending Quest” upon mankind. We even encountered opinion saying this record is the best swedish death metal album ever and it’s definitelly up there. The band has had multiple names before coming up with the name Gorement. Such as Testile Perspirant, Executioner, Sanguinary, but as Gorement they were at their most influential. If you somehow have not heard about them and yet the logo looks familiar to you then you ain’t crazy, that’s becase other swedish OSDM legend Bloodbath paid tribute to Gorement upon their founding and stylized their own logo as Gorement’s as a tribute to their legacy. We usually give FFO recommendations at the end of this collumn, but here we don’t imagine that anyone would know the simillar bands and not know Gorement.
